Congratulations to senior, Polly Hirt, and junior, Taylor Reckert. Both girls qualified for this year's swimming and diving state meet to be held this Friday at New Trier High School.

Polly Hirt was the Sectional Diving Champion with a lifetime best score of 427.95. Polly is returning to the state meet where last year she placed 17th overall in her first time qualifying.

Taylor Reckert placed 3rd at the Sectional meet and earned a qualifying score of 408.90 to punch her ticket downstate. This will be her first trip to the state meet!

This is the 5th year in a row the Mustangs have qualified the maximum alloted divers to the state meet where they also have a streak of placing at least one of the girls in the Top 12 for the past three years. A streak only matched by one other school in the state of Illinois. Diving Preliminaries start at 9am and tickets can be bought at the door for $10 at New Trier High School.
