Girls Gymnastics Team Rules & Expecations 2007-2008
  • Mandatory practices are Monday – Friday at 3:30 (days depending on level)
  • Conditioning will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm for those not in Varsity PE
  • There will be additional Saturday practices for Varsity
  • Holiday practice times TBA
  • Illness or family emergencies are considered excused if a phone call or written note from parent is given to a coach PRIOR to missing any part of practice or competition
  • Two unexcused missed practices, tardies or leaving early result in termination of the team
  • Keep in mind the team goals throughout season, individual behavior affects the whole team
  • Work is NOT considered excused absences, tardies, or reasons for leaving early unless prior consideration has been made
  • Attendance will be taken at all practices, a sign in sheet may be used
  • All gymnasts should be dressed appropriately for practice (hair up, leotards on, no jewelry and no gum)
  • All routines need to be choreographed and learned by Monday, November 12th
  • Positive attitudes and commitment to hard work are required at all practices and competitions
  • Team spirit and Team involvement are necessities in the success of the sport
  • Open door Policy applies to all gymnast and all coaches, all the coaches are here to see that each gymnasts enjoys the sport of gymnastics and grows stronger physically and mentally throughout the season
  • Competition Schedule will be passed out, ALL athletes are expected to attend all Conference Meets, Regionals, Sectionals, and  State.
  • Weekend Invitationals are Optional for JV
  • We will follow all District 120 Code of Conduct Rules and Academic Rules
