Information meeting for the 2008-09 season on Tuesday, April 22 at 3:25 in room 160.
Summer Camp and Summer League Registrations are due by April 30.
Summer Pro Camp at the Libertyville Sports Complex is 9:00 am - 10:30 am on June 10, 11, and 13.
Cost is $160 which includes professional instruction, video analysis and range balls.

REGIONALS RESULTS
The Lady Mustangs ended their season with a disappointing performance and a team score of 464. The girls had hoped to have several qualifiers to sectionals but nerves got the best of us. Our best score was a 104 by Lauren Pierpont. Even though we did not meet our expectations today, we had some great performances throughout the season and are looking forward to next year.

PARENT-DAUGHTER GOLF OUTING
Thursday, September 27 was the Second Annual Parent-Daughter Golf Outing. It was a beautiful afternoon and fun was had by all! There were four groups playing a best ball format. Team Pierpont-Whitemarsh and Team Unger-Mitchem tied for the lead shooting 3-under par. In second place was Team Moran-Maple and third was Team Lewis-Bernardi.

The Girls Varsity Golf team finishes 7th in the North Suburban Conference on Tuesday at Deerpath Golf Course and improves their 18-hole team score over last year by 51 strokes!! Girls Golf is still a new program at Mundelein and the emphasis is on improvement. The Lady Mustangs were led by Colleen Unger with a 98, Gabby Esperson had 99, Lauren Pierpont scored 100, Katie Moran had 106, Sam Lebbos had 110 and Kristin Lewis with 116. Katie, Sam and Kristin all golfed their personal best scores.
In the Lakes-Prairie JV Invite, Emily Whitemarsh won a 17th place medal with her best score 117!! Congrats to all the girls on an excellent performance.

LADY MUSTANGS SET NEW TEAM RECORD!
The Lady Mustangs score 188 against Antioch on Thursday and set a new MHS team record!!! Looks like the girls golf team is peaking just at the right time with the NSC Conference Tournament next week. Lauren Pierpont golfed her personal best round of 42. Colleen Unger was our next best score of 49, followed by 50's from Gabby Esperson and Emily Whitemarsh. Sam Lebbos also had her best match score of 54. You Go Girls!!!

VERNON HILLS OVER MHS, 199-222
Both the Varsity and JV girls drop another one to Vernon Hills on Friday 9/14 at Vernon Hills. The Varsity only scored 222 to 199 for the Bears. The Lady Mustangs had difficulty with the cold and windy conditions and scores were all in the 50's: Katie Moran had our low score with 54, Lauren Pierpont a 55, Emily Whitemarsh a 56, and Colleen Unger and Gabriella Esperson both shot 57.
The Junior Varsity scored a 312 and Vernon Hills 217. Samantha Lebbos shot her personal best a 60.

LIBERTYVILLE OVER MHS, 201-205
The girls golf team lost another close match by 4 strokes to the Libertyville Wildcats. It was a disappointing match because the Mustangs were not at full strength, but still managed to keep it close. MHS was lead by Lauren Pierpont with a 45, Katie Moran had a 52, Colleen Unger shot a 53 and freshman, Emily Whitemarsh shot her season best score a 55.
The JV team had their first win against Libertyville in a 6-hole match 178-182! Kristin Lewis had the best score, 36, followed by Miri Kim with a 43, Alex Maple shot 48 and Katie Bernardi had a 51. All of the girls improved their previous scores.
From Tuesday, September 4:
PRAIRIE RIDGE OVER MHS, 191-203
The Lady Mustangs posted their best team score of the season and lost a close match to the visiting Prairie Ridge on Tuesday 203-191. The Mustangs were without starter, Gabby Esperson, who has a sprained wrist. Lauren Pierpont lead MHS with her best season score a 44, followed by Colleen Unger's 47, Katie Moran's 52 and Kristin Lewis's 60. Our individual scores have improved and we should give Libertyville a fight tonight!
The Junior Varsity also lost 273-254, but both Emily Whitemarsh and Miri Kim scored 58's which are their best scores of the season.

LAKE ZURICH OVER MHS, 210-218
The girls golf team lost a close one against Lake Zurich at Village Green on Tuesday. Mustangs scored 218 and the Lake Zurich Bears scored 210. Our best score was posted by Lauren Pierpont.

LAKE FOREST OVER MHS, 173-209
The girls golf team lost a close one against Lake Zurich at Village Green on The Lady Mustangs improved their team score from their last match, but still came up short against the Lake Forest Scouts 173-209. The top score was posted by Katie Moran with her personal best a 50, followed by Colleen Unger 51, Lauren Pierpont 52 and Gabby Esperson 56. The JV played and Miri Kim had the lowest score with 67.

LAKE ZURICH OVER MHS, 210-218
The girls golf team lost a close one against Lake Zurich at Village Green on Tuesday. Mustangs scored 218 and the Lake Zurich Bears scored 210. Our best score was posted by Lauren Pierpont.
From Monday, August 27:
STEVENSON OVER MHS, 154-211
Monday, the Lady Mustangs lost to visiting Stevenson in a big way.
Varsity scores were Stevenson 154 and MHS 211. Our best score was posted by Lauren Pierpont with a 47, and Katie Moran golfed her personal best with a 51.
Junior Varsity scores were Stevenson 231 and MHS 282.
From Wednesday, August 22:
MUNDELEIN OVER LAKES, 183-188
The Lady Mustangs pulled out a victory against Lakes High School at Antioch Golf Course! Due to inclement weather, the match was stopped with 6 holes. The score was tied and had to be determined with a playoff and MHS won the match 183 to 188. Top scores were Lauren Pierpont 31, Gabby Esperson 32, Katie Moran 38, Colleen Unger 40 and Michelle Mitchem 42.

McHENRY INVITE RESULTS
The girls golf team finished 4th with our best team score 393. Colleen Unger earned a 10th place medal with her best score of 93 (41 on the back 9) and she is the first MHS medal winner! Gabby Esperson had her best score of 94 and Lauren Pierpont also posted her best score of 93. Adding to our team score was Katie Moran with a 113.

MARIAN CENTRAL INVITE RESULTS
Varsity placed 9th out 14 schools at the Marion Central Invite. Both Lauren Pierpont and Colleen Unger posted personal best scores! Colleen scored a 94 and Lauren had a 96. |
