WEDNESDAY MAY 21st CONCESSIONS FOR BASEBALL (2 VOLUNTEERS & 2 RUNNERS)
4:00 – 6:30/7:00 (END OF GAME/CLEAN UP)

SATURDAY MAY 24TH CONCESSIONS FOR BASEBALL (2 VOLUNTEERS & 2 RUNNERS)
9:00 – 12:30 (END OF GAME/CLEAN UP)

The 9th Annual MHS Athletic Booster Club Golf Outing needs more volunteers! We'll need at least two people on each the following: Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

HOLE MONITORS FROM 1:00 – 6:00 (????Dinner might be included?????)
Three par-3 holes during the outing to watch for hole-in-one's (#7, #9, #16). (#16 may have a big prize like a car or $10,000).
One par three hole to sell beat-the-pro chances on hole # 5.
One par three hole to sell Mustang Logo Golf Balls on hole #11.
Putting Contest - Practice Green.

MHS Parents and Community members,
We would like to you become members of the MHS Athletic Booster Club. What is the “Booster Club?” It is an organization that is composed of individuals who are part of the Mundelein High School community and who are interested in supporting all athletic programs. Members share in the school spirit and the success of the athletic programs through our volunteer work and fundraising activities and events.

Over the past 3 years, we have raised over $129,000 that went to fulfill the coach’s wish list items. In addition, we also awarded $30,000 in scholarships. Each year, the Booster Club awards ten $1,000 scholarships to eligible senior athletes. The senior must have participated in at least 2 years of a sport, including one year during his/her senior year at the varsity level. They must have a 2.0 GPA and their family must be a registered member of the booster club by 12/31 of the current school year.

The Booster Club raises funds through many activities and events. First and foremost is the membership dues. We also raise funds by running the Concession stands, Market Days, the Spirit store, the Yard Signs and decals and our annual Golf outing held in June.

Membership dues are $25.00 per year, per family. Booster members are entitled to discounted admission per adult, at all home varsity events. Volunteers who give of their time at least 3 times per year can also select a sport to give back $15 to that sports activity fund.

Please be aware that if you choose 3 Athletic/Activities it will be a “Special Order”

	•	provides all athletic programs additional needed equipment beyond the standard purchases from the school budget. Over the past three years, the Booster Club has provided over $129,000 towards the coaches' wish list.

	•	our largest annual fundraiser, the golf outing, grossed over $29,000 this year.

	•	provides ten scholarships to our graduating senior athletes.

MEMBERS:

	•	share in the school spirit and are a part of the growing success of our athletic programs.

	•	are entitled to discounted admission per adult into all home varsity events. (this savings quickly covers the cost of membership!)

	•	will receive updates of Club activity through e-mail.

	•	support the athletic programs through volunteer work.
