Bio: High School Averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 3.0 assists per game her senior season... shot 47.0 percent from the field and recorded a 77.0 free throw shooting percent during the 2004-05 season... was a Team MVP her senior season after leading Mundelein to a 22-9 season and regional championship... averaged 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game as a junior... was a first team all-area and all-conference pick... earned Niles North Christmas All-Tournament honors... helped her 2003-04 squad to a regional title.

Personal: Daughter of Donald and Ellen Miller.... major is kinesiology.

Achievements:
Lizzy has been selected 1st team All-Conference for 2005-06 and she was selected player of the week for scoring 44 points and grabbing 22 rebounds in a pair of wins last week. They are in the playoffs Thursday for the automatic berth to the NCAAs.

THIS LINK is for a press release by Whitman College that states Lizzy was named to the ESPN The Magazine's Academic All-District First Team.  "Washburn, a 5-foot-9 senior forward, is one of five players to earn first-team honors for women's basketball in the College Division of District VIII. The district includes all NCAA Div. II/Div. III and NAIA schools in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii, California, Utah, Nevada and Arizona, as well as British Columbia."
