Being on the Honor Roll is one of the scholastic honors a student at Mundelein High School may attain.

High Honor Roll -- All "A" grades.

Honor Roll -- A "B" average.

To be eligible for either the "A"or "B" Honor Roll, a student must be enrolled in at least three regular graded courses equal to 1.5 credits. Any grade of "D", "F", or "I" in any class disqualifies a student. A "P" does not qualify for Honor Roll.

Honor Roll will be calculated as soon as all teachers submit grades. Students who receive incomplete grades are not eligible for Honor Roll consideration.

Each term, Honor Roll lists are made available to the local newspapers for publication. Any student not wanting his/her name published must state so in writing to the guidance office.

Students who attain Honor Roll recognition will receive awards, distributed by the Guidance Department, noting their high level of accomplishment as follows:

* To receive an academic letter, the student must be on the B or A honor roll for two (2) terms.
* Each subsequent B honor roll term earns a bar.
* Each subsequent A honor roll term earns a star.
