This beginning/intermediate choir is open to freshman boys, and all sophomore, junior and senior students.  Elements of vocal techniques, music theory, and sight reading are explored.  This performing group offers a wide range of vocal musical styles, and its members will participate in four school concerts as well as perform in the community.

This advanced group gives students the opportunity to attain a high level of musicianship and performance.  Enrollment is based upon an audition which includes sight reading and prepared music.  Development of vocal technique, musicianship and ear training is emphasized.  Private lessons are encouraged and practice of music outside of class is expected.  One nine week period will be devoted to a large work of music.  Performances are given in and around the community as well as at school concerts.

The Sound Combo is an instrumental ensemble that accompanies the show choirs of Mundelein High School. Students will learn the art of accompanying live singing in a variety of styles for a variety of venues. Students will travel with the show choirs to their community and competitive destinations.
