Marching Mustangs to present A Night at the Movies 2008
The Marching Mustangs shows (that’s right, shows) will feature big-screen tunes that audiences of all ages will enjoy! The band will be present a cycle of tunes throughout the season, presenting 4 unique shows at each of the home football games. The Marching Mustangs will be following in the footsteps of the Big Ten marching bands by keeping things fresh and exciting for the audience each game. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Since the Marching Mustangs have been working hard, our uniform parents have been working even harder to keep the band looking its best. This year the uniform parents have been working at a record pace to outfit 150 marchers by this year's 4th of July Parades. However, the uniform work is far from over. Even after the 4th, many volunteer hours will be needed to complete the uniform fittings and get the band looking great for the fall marching season. If you can help, even sporadically, with uniforms (no sewing expertise required). Please contact Katy Timmerman via email at katytimmerman@sbcglobal.net.
If you do possess some sewing prowess, we would especially like your help in minor alterations throughout the marching season. We NEED to hear from you. Call or email the band office or email Katy Timmerman if you have some sewing chops that you would like to lend us. |
