PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS FOR TEACHERS

Earn Illinois CPDUs for teacher recertification. Each workshop consists of two 2-hour sessions. Workshops will be conducted by noted art educator Dr. Debra Fitzsimmons, an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) approved CPDU provider. Three workshops will be offered for the 08/09 school year.

Students learn more and retain learning longer when they have an opportunity to creatively interpret lessons.  In this workshop teachers will integrate a visual arts component into their established curricula.  Teachers should bring 1 to 3 learning units they wish to expand. For K-12 Non-Art Teachers
