NEW! Basic Soldering Class

Pendant or Keychain Medallion A study in basic soldering techniques for beginning metalsmithing used in  jewelry design.  Demonstrations and discussions will be held on metal design, soldering, and related metal techniques.  This class is required before any other class may be scheduled that uses any soldering techniques.  Course price includes cost of equipment use & supplies.   Note:  No class September 1 and October 13, 2008.

This is an opportunity for seriously interested metalsmith art people to work on their own design plans in a metal studio equipped with most of the necessary equipment for such work, along-side other like-minded individuals.  Prerequisite:  Basic Soldering Class or evidence of soldering experience at first meeting. Course price includes cost of equipment use & supplies.  Note:  No class September 1 and October 13, 2008.

Join us and make a necklace or bracelet for a Christmas gift!  A study in basic wire manipulation, and sheet metal piercing techniques for beginning metalsmithing students.  Demonstrations and discussions will be held on link design, fusing beads on wire, and related metal techniques.  Course price includes cost of equipment use & supplies.

Enjoy your own creativity trying new ideas, exploring values and different techniques using pencils and colored pencils.  Beginner and intermediate students welcome.  Students may choose their own drawing projects or one from the instructor.  Please bring sketchbook, 2B pencil and eraser to class.
