Here is a brief introduction to our Super Seniors Program - more information about it can be found at Super Seniors.

"Super Seniors" is a new program started by MHS Adult Education Director Joan Hornby to encourage Mundelein area seniors to become more involved in their community school. Super Seniors are invited to attend monthly dinner events, ranging from dinner and plays to music concerts and speech team presentations. Each events is free to our seniors, and will be sponsored by a student club at the school. Funding will come from sponsors, grants and donations.

Another one of the resources available to the community is the excellent low cost breakfasts and lunches served in the school every day. Seniors in the community are encouraged to join our students in the cafeteria for a nourishing meal. Breakfast is served every day from 7 to 7:30 am, and is very reasonably priced. Lunch is served from 11:30 am to 1 pm, and is usually a homemade hot meal or combo meal.

Interested seniors can also receive an activity pass, at no charge, that allows them to enjoy home sporting events, as well as use the school's jogging track and swimming pool at certain hours.
