Mundelein High School - Clubs & Activities

About the Art Club:
The two primary functions of the Art Club are:
1. To act as an academic support organization
2. To provide a venue for self-development through the arts.

The Art Club supports the Mundelein High School academic art program by being the primary producers for Mundelein High Schools' participation in visual arts shows and competitions.

The club members raise money for show entry fees, show production and for matting of works.

They design and produce the literature, brochures and posters that promote the shows.

Art Club Members organize the show receptions including formal buffet and musicians and they also MC the shows.

As a venue for self-development, the Art Club provides members with an opportunity to further their art abilities through art workshops, and increase their art knowledge through college visits, museums and gallery tours, and community service.
